Is Cow’s Milk Good For You?

The following brief post is going to respond to the question: Is Milk Healthy?

The short response: sad to say, it depends. Up coming are strong answers on what form milk is good for you, or bad, and when.

Goat’s Milk: is good for you. It’s much easier ingested than cow’s milk and has different proteins. In addition to the lactose, it seems some are allergic to a particular proteins in cow’s milk, namely alpha S1 casein protein. Goat’s milk doesn’t contain it.

Cow’s Milk: may be alright. That is IF you don’t have a lactose allergy/lactose intolerance.

Uncooked Cow’s Milk: some specialists say that if you have cow’s milk, make it uncooked (non pasteurized). Their arguments are that all advantageous micro nutrients in the milk are destroyed in the heating-process, and the molecularstructure of the proteins is changed, consequently making the milk much less digestible. That’s as may be, but there’s some concern over bad bacteria in raw milk… It appears that nobody is quite sure, but I personally will likely not take my chances.

Sheep’s Milk: is also digested more readily when compared with cow’s milk, and has a higher fat content and all round much more dense nutritional content. Judgement: healthful.

To Sum Up:

Is Milk Good For You? Undoubtedly yes, yet it also is dependent upon the kind of milk and on whether or not you’ll be able to handle it well. Cow’s milk can be okay if you’re not sensitive or have got an intolerance or sensitivity to it, but it seems that goat’s and sheep’s milk are much better for you with many different extra benefits.

Kefir as well as yogurt are quite different to milk although they’re made from it: they also contain many beneficial microorganisms -called pro biotics- and yeasts which will help boost and maintain your health. Moreover they’re way short of lactose and contain an enzyme that lactose intolerant folks lack in: lactase. So it’s got less of the actual troublesome whole milk sugar, in addition to the digestive capacity to handle it well.
