Outranking your competitors on Youtube.
If you’ve been checking out any video clips these days, you will understand that the more well-liked ones have enhanced quality and production values. There are excellent rationales why a lot of videos are superior these days, including very good and cost-effective programs such as iMovie, Sony Vegas, Screenflow and VideoStudioPro that can essentially make a newbie look like a Hollywood editor. When doing online video marketing, this is really critical.
The biggest challenge of video promotion these days is retaining your viewers intrigued long enough so that they actually get to your call-to-action. All the while dealing with the routine short attention span of internet users and all of the advertisement and links being tossed their way while watching your video.
The question is, how does one keep viewers viewing your video and while recognizing all of their interruptions? Well you can be creative, funny even intoxicating but that all comes down to skill in your video development. What a lot of video producers do not recognize though is the value of credibility. Your audience must recognize an inherent trust in your videos that you are qualified, self-assured and reputable in providing what they have to hear – regardless of the genre.
In video marketing this sets out right from the time someone views your Youtube video title. Is it interesting? Is it gripping? Is it appealing to their curiosity? Is it something important enough to be hanging around watching?
Are YOU recognizable in your own video? If a video just starts putting out your marketing message, it’s likely going to be overlooking a human connection right from the start. You don’t specifically have to be in the video, but even something as basic as a standard business photo of you and a short mention such as “Hi, this is Mike Smith from the business name of the same name here offering you this free …” such and such. This lets the viewer knows who is presenting to them and why. Leaving out of this simple introduction causes uncertainty in your viewers – even if they don’t realize it immediately. Screenflow is an excellent software program to consider for your video production.
Remaining uniform in delivering video content in your sector also has a relationship building consequence that delivers readers and a social media following within Youtube and websites. Your credibility is then further enhanced by being perceived as a specialist in the specific niche.
Credibility can show up many ways, but the best way to begin being more trustworthy is to be more visual and let your customers know they’re engaging with a true human being who is stating ownership for this video content.
